All the gas cylinders are painted in different colors for the visual identification of gaseous contents as per Indian standard rules for cylinders. Do not change the color of gas cylinder. 

                    Cylinders shall be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated place.  It should be keep away from flames or any sources of heat. Use cylinders in vertical position. Do not play with gas cylinders. No oil or lubricant should be used on the valves.
